This monitor is worth every penny. We did have some false alarms on it when our baby was in the pack and play but since we put it in the crib it works great. It is nice to not worry in the middle of the night if your baby is still breathing or not. The only thing to remember is to turn the sensor off when you take the baby out of the crib(I forget sometimes during late night feedings). I couldn't be happier with this product.

We bought this Angelcare movement sensor monitor to use for our fifth child who was born premature. It is the best thing out there for providing peace of mind for the parents. With our other children we just had a regular monitor and I can tell you this is so much better. We tested it, it really does work, and it is so definitely worth it. I know some parents wrote in complaining about the static and some of those other minor complaints, but really you get that with all monitors just like with a cordless phone. I would tell all parents that you can stop shopping around because you have found the monitor to get.

I try to be an educated buyer and when we were shopping around for baby monitors, read many reviews and felt this would meet our needs. (sigh) But unfortunately after using it for a couple of months I have given up on the "bee noise". It has serious issues with static and wish it had more channels to work with, due to some signal interference. Do like the 2 monitor option and the pad, but I would recommend you go with the deluxe option...wait for a sale and make the effort on the extra bucks...it is worh it!
