Good quality, cute sounds, but my son got fed up within the day. More for 2 and under. Perhaps even 1 and a half maximum.

My son really does like to play with this sometimes, but it is just too loud. It is the loudest toy that he owns, and just about every toy he has makes some sort of noise. I have no problem with noisy toys in general, but the volume on this literally hurts my ears. I am looking for something to cover up the speaker to mute the volume.

PROS: Cute sayings by Sesame Street Characters; more than one saying per character; sense of humor in the sayings; fun for varied ages, not too complicated for little fingers to operate. CONS: Volume is loud with no control (except off!);steering wheel a little tricky for younger children. I saw this toy in a store and after playing with it, I had to have it for my 1 year old. At the time, it was in between pay days, so I couldn't buy it that day. Thank goodness since I found it on Amazon at a STEAL price, even compared to the stores' x-mas sale price. Anyway, this toy is so much fun with all the different sesame street characters and sayings. I enjoyed playing with it as much as my one year old and four year old did! Brought back some fond memories of my Sesame Street watching days. My favorite is when you pull the shifter and grover says STEP ON IT, vrrrrroooom (Grover was my favorite as a child). My other favorite is the turn signal. It's cookie monster who says, in the same rhythm as a real turn signal, "cookie, cookie" or "yum-yum, yum-yum". Turning the wheel has Elmo giving you directions: " This way, the other way, where ARE you going? Hee hee hee." Both my one year old, and my four year old enjoy playing with it. My one year old seems to be able to operate all the different parts of it without any frustration, but some parts do offer enough of a challenge for her to get some motor skills practice. With so many varied sayings, I don't find myself being as quickly annoyed by it as some of the other toys. The ONLY complaints I really have with it is there is NO volume control and the wheel can be a little tricky for the younger kids. The toy is quite loud which annoys my husband. I have learned over time to tune out loud and annoying things, so it doesn't bother me much. There is an off switch so that the toy can be played with minus sound. The steering wheel is a little tight, so without the back of the toy being pushed against something for resistance, it takes a bit of practice to figure out how to do it for younger kids. But, it hasn't frustrated my one year old, and she can be easily frustrated at times. But that aside, I am thrilled with my purchase, and would buy it again!
