This is my second Regent. My children and I were in an accident earlier this year that left my son and I bruised and sore. We are both still under doctors care. My daughter, who was in her Regent, had her shoes knocked off her feet, but did not have a bruise on her. This car seat functioned wonderfully, and I immediately replaced the wrecked one with the same car seat.

This is a great car seat, but installing it was very difficult. It required me calling Britax. They were helpful, but it still takes 2 adults to install and I still cannot get it completely tight like the Marathon. My daughter loves the seat and it is very comfortable for her. I have a Honda Accord and I would not put it in anything smaller.

Heavy to handle, so don't plan on moving this seat from one car to another. Provides the peace of mind my wife and I were looking for to keep our children safe while traveling. Wider than average car seat; may not fit adjacent to another car seat. We have a 98 4-Runner, so there's room for two with a little space in between them. We will purchase for the younger daughter soon. Best price ($216) through Amazon vs. direct from Amazon partner. Shipping extra, but reasonable.

We bought it because it's the only one in the market for up to 80 lbs w/5 point, and up to 100 lbs in booster mode. Much more sturdier and kid friendly than I though. Excellent side and head support.Very heavy and wide. Ideal for a captain chair in a minivan. 5 star rating in this. Areas for improvement is the latch adjustment. Even pulling from the inside of the seat, the quick release attachment is too bulky and interfere with the back rest. After a long hard fight, you can get it tight. Removal is a snap thought. Excellent back strap LATCH. 4 star rating in this. Areas to DRAMATICALLY improve, are the cup holder design, that once fully fit the seat, they open due to the pressure of the seat cushion itself. Not easy to fold or open. And the only low quality feature, is the cheap plastic buckle on the chest of the five point harness...miserable, and I'm fear it may break with the use. From my point of view, this piece is worth a recall due to the critical of it's function. 1 star rating on these two items. (Installed on a 2006 Chrysler Town&Country Limited)

This car seat is easy to take in and out, seems very comfortable for my grandson, he loves the cup holders. The seat belts have a "click" to them so they tighten by ratcheting. Very cool.

I was so nervous about purchasing this seat after reading all of the horror stories written on this and many other web sites. I currently own the Boulevard but was in the market for another seat. I installed the Frontier in a 2007 Volvo XC90. I didn't find that it was any more difficult than my Boulevard (which was a BREEZE!!!). The first thing I did was take a look at the seat and get a lay of the land...which you should ALWAYS do. Then I looked at the manual. It all seemed fairly straight forward. I used the anchors to install it in my 2nd row of seats. MY XC90 has a 3rd row. My husband did help me tighten the straps although that was only because I have a back injury (unrelated to the installation! :)) But it's very secure. I don't think I could move it an inch. The cup holders work well and my son seems to be happy in it. He's 2 and is a fairly tall boy. Over 36". So, I'm not sure where people ran into issues. If you can use your anchors then it will install very easily. So don't believe all the hype!!! I love it!!

I am totally satisfied with these booster seats. I bought two at once, and they are so easily installed, removed, and are extraordinarily safe for the children. And they beat the old cheaper seats in durability. The covers are washable, and that in itself is a dream. There is nothing worse than having the upholstery soiled, and having to either discard the seat or try to eliminate the stain. Thank you.

I bought this for my 3.5 year old son. We have two Recaro child seats and while I love them, they are a bit big. He is now tall enough and heavy enough to be in a booster seat. So I started looking. Surprisingly, there are hardly any that are LATCH. That was a shock to me. We are trying to use the safest products for our children, and nobody seems to be catching on with the booster seats. So I found this one, and the reviews seemed good. It was expensive, but when you figure you will use it for years, I could justify it. I use it in the back seat of a BMW e46 convertible (which is an odd shaped rear seat) and it works so well. It is so easy to get him in and out, he LOVES it (says it is very comfortable) and the OE seat-belts work perfect. TOTALLY LOVE THIS!

Just received 2 of these for the back of my BMW coupe...The Olli is the narrowest booster with the LATCH system, so it clicks into place and doesn't shift over the seat belt clip when the little ones get in and out. My kids love that these aren't babyish, and I love the carry strap that's included..perfect to bring on trips. VERY easy to install, plus there is a small pull-strap in front which unsnaps the LATCH quickly. Excellent quality.I'm very pleased with these. NOT worth the extra money unless your car has the LATCH system...the small brackets that stick out the back don't come off.
