This is the greatest item for keeping newborn closeby. Easy to transport, excellent option for clean looking baby accessory. Baby rests very well.

The basket itself is really nicely made. The sheet for the pad is not a soft cotton material, like other baby sheets. The bumper pad isn't stiff enough to stay up no matter how tight you make the ties. The stuffing is too thin to really do anything. Additionally, the ties easily come off in the wash and have to be sewn back on.

It is good for laying your baby in when you're somewhere a bassinet isn't available. The velcro on it is annoying, but other than that it is nice. It serves its purpose, and when the baby is to big for it, you can use it as a laundry basket.
