After an exhaustive search for the right portable/mini crib I decided on the Da Vinci Annabelle for two reasons: 1) I have the full-sized Da Vinci Anastasia crib that I am very satisfied with, and 2) reasonably priced. None of the collapsible cribs were very sturdy in my opinion (I also looked at these in stores). I ordered this for a long visit at gma and gpa's house. Baby slept great! I would recommend the breathable baby bumper, and the Da Vinci coil mattress to go along with the crib because it is small and the breathable bumper will fit it PERFECTLY (it comes in two pieces and you only need to use the large piece), and the coil mattress is very comfortable and comparable to a decent full-sized crib mattress. Do note however that baby will probably grow out of the crib fairly fast. I was using it when my average-sized baby was 5 months, and he fit nicely, but I'm guessing it may only fit him for one more visit and then it will need to be converted into the regular bed. Great purchase, would recommend!!

I bought this mini crib for my 6 month old who didn't like his Graco bassinet. This crib is perfect in our bedroom and the only drawback is the flimsy mattress that comes with it and the lack of bedding for this size of crib. My son loves it and slept through the night the first time we placed him there. Highly recommended for small spaces. The vendor was responsive to my calls in regards to the tracking and status of the shipment. When the crib arrived in our home, it was very well wrapped and all pieces were intact.

This crib is a nice fit for our teeny house in Seattle. It is very sturdy and looks great in the room. The 1" thick plastic covered foam mattress that comes with the crib is very flimsy, so we ended up buying a better one. We didn't think the crib was hard to put together at all (then again, my husband is an engineer and he likes building things). I would also caution that buying bedding for a mini crib is a bit of a pain--- there's not that much decent quality stuff out there. Avoid Gerber, it will fall apart on you. We had the best luck with Carousel ([...]). It's a little more expensive but it will last much longer and comes in great colors.
