My husband says it's extremely difficult to assemble. It took a few hours of hard work and finger pain, but the end result is beautiful. We love the crib. It feels solid and the ebony color matches our decor. It does not come with spare parts, so just make sure you measure the parts, because they look exactly the same, but with a 1 cm difference. Our baby girl isn't born yet, but I'm sure she'll enjoy it!

Having four children, we have limited space. When our daughter outgrew her bassinet, we knew we needed a space saving crib; so we chose the Davinci Emily mini-crib. And we couldn't be more pleased! Sturdy and attractive, the Davinci Emily is the perfect solution for a crib in those homes that have limited pacing. Well worth the money! If I had one complaint, it would be that the directions for assembly are worthless. However, with such few parts, anyone with even a little bit of assembly knowledge can figure out how to put it together; and within an hour. I also recommend purchasing the DaVinci Crescent 50 Coil Mini Crib Mattress as the thin mattress that comes with this crib is extremely insufficient (as is the case with most portable-type cribs). Lastly, although not advertised nor mentioned in the assembly instructions, this crib will easily convert to a twin size bed; making it a product that will last for many years!

It's always hard to buy something like a crib without seeing it. But this crib is great! It went together easily and it is very sturdy. We got the natural and the finish is beautiful. And, the fact that this crib will stay with the child through life means that it actually cost very little per child. And, if you're expecting a boy, don't be fooled by the name. It's not "girly" at all in appearance.
