We really are happy with this gate. It looked at firs like it was bent, but that's the design that allows it to be under pressure for a tight fit. It is high quality, looks nice, and doesn't damage our walls (we didn't screw it in - just used the pressure). It is easy to operate with one hand. A great gate!

The description says, "The baby gate from Dream Baby also features optional extensions which are sold separately. It allows the gate to expand to fit an opening over 63 inches in width." Not true! 63 inches is the MAXIMUM. I have a 72 inch opening, so I bought the gate and extensions to fit the space. The instructions say that you can use a maximum of two extensions, but I wasn't clear if they considered the two small ones included with the gate to be part of the maximum because the description implied otherwise. A call to the company confirmed that only two of any length can be used. The huge flaw? The pressure-mounts at the bottom won't clear the quarter-round moulding on my baseboard. Because the gate must be flush on the floor, I can't use it anywhere in my house.

We have a 43 inch stairway so common gates were just barely too short. We tried 4 gates before we settled upon this one. It was so great, we bought a second! We have used it for a couple months now with no problems. Im so glad we kept checking because I wasnt looking forward to drilling into the wall to get something mounted. Like another reviewer said, its the Cadillac of gates!
