First Years 49MHz Monitor with 2 Receivers

This First Years 49MHz monitor with 2 receivers keeps you in touch with your baby and gives you peace of mind. Monitor set includes 1 child unit for Baby's room and 2 parent units for other rooms in your house. System uses 2-channel reception and all units have high performance antennas. Sound-activated light means you can see and hear Baby's activities. Child unit includes super-sensitive microphone and can be wall mounted. Parent units include volume control dial and belt clip and can be used with batteries. Includes AC adapter. FCC approved.

I bought these for my brand new baby cousin's arrival. My aunt says they work wonderful and the double receivers are very convenient.

Like others, I get a lot of of static. A couple of people mentioned battery life. Mine gets terrible battery life.

We got this 2 1/2 years ago for my first daughter. It's worked fine until we tried to use it in a different room for our newest addition. It will ONLY pick up the signal from the neighbors' monitor (we live in an attached twin/duplex) on one channel and nothing but static on the 2nd channel. I even tried putting the monitor/base unit next to my daughter and the receiver a foot away and still heard the neighbor's daughter crying!
