I bought this on a whim for my 5-month old. He's carried ALOT and doesn't like to fall sleep on his own but after 10 minutes in this swing he was out! I love that it folds up and is so portable, I take it outside so I can play with my 4-year old and the baby can see us and nap if he wants to. We will take this on vacation in a couple of weeks and I'm sure we'll get more use out of it then.

I just bought this swing for my 3 mo. old granddaughter. I agree with previous writers that the speed is pretty much the same on all settings. A very slow speed would have been ideal. So far I am happy with the purchase since my granddaughter is sound asleep in the swing and that's what I was hoping for! I like how compact the swing is too. I will update my review of this item down the road.

Cute swing that saves on space versus it's bigger versions. I like how it's low to the ground as well. Got it for my 2 week old baby. My only concern with it is that I don't notice much difference between the 5 speeds and feel that it is too fast even on the slowest speed. This is why I give it 3 stars vs. 4 as I would love for the slowest speed to go much slower and see a bigger difference between the speed levels. My daughter is not quite 8 pounds yet so maybe it will work better as she grows.
