I HIGHLY recommend this high chair to ANYONE shopping for a high chair. The Svan chair is the best purchase I could've ever made for my daughter. A co-worker recommended this chair...her son is 7 years old and still uses it as his chair at the kitchen table. We bought this chair just a few weeks ago (my daughter, Olivia, is now 6 months old) and she adapted to it remarkably well. It is the perfect size for her...and I really didn't realize it until we were at Grandma's house this weekend and we had to use HER high chair. I wish I could post pictures of the differences in the two chairs. The big, "old fashioned", clunky high chair at Grandma's was SO HUGE...she slipped down, sort of laying back/to the side...and her mouth was just even with the tray, making it really difficult for me to feed her. It was WAAAY too big for her. In her Svan chair, Olivia sits up straight, her hands/arms on the tray (which sits at the perfect level)...it's the perfect size for any child. The seat depth, seat height, and the foot rest are adjustable...allowing you to adjust the chair to your child as he/she grows (legs will always be at a 90 degree angle as you adjust the foot rest). It's a very ergonomically correct chair. When the child is old enough, you are able to remove the high chair tray and infant straps and just push this chair up to the table with the rest of the family. You will NEVER need a booster seat. The Svan Chair is moderately expensive, but I know I will use it until she is 10-11 years old...so it was a great investment. I would NEVER buy a regular "old fashioned" high chair after seeing/using this one. I also got a seat cover, which I would highly recommend.

I own the espresso Svan high chair and LOVE it!! Not only does it look great in my kitchen, but it has served my daughter soooo well. The seat back adjusts to accommodate your growing child. The chair is very sturdy. It also adjusts to become a toddler and small child seat. It is a chair you will love for years - not just when your child is a baby. Other high chairs get used for a year or two, but you will likely use this for 3-4 years. Thank you Svan for designing a very functional and beautiful high chair.

This chair is so amazing! A friend of mine recommended it but I was a little hesitant because it was so pricey - and...a friend had given me a big plastic one for free :) I used that plastic one for about a week and couldn't take its hugeness and not-so-cute style anymore in my kitchen. The Svan is small...is easy to move around...it looks like one of my chairs and I love the fact that it will grown with my little princess. This chair is the best - buy it! You won't regret it!
