EASY: Installation was as easy as lining up the screws. DURABLE: My son crashes cars into it, swings the door, and shakes it. No problems! It works great for our big dogs too! FUNCTIONAL: The side pieces are hard mounted, and the gates snaps into the side pieces. The bottom also unlatches and you can swing the whole gate open or lift it off all together. This is great when you want to move things thru, vacuum and clean or just open up the space. VERY HANDY! I have had my gate for over a year. I love it and would buy the same gate if I needed another one. I recommend this product!

I got one of these for our house because we have a 9' opening to the space we wanted as a play area. It does have limitations which are to be expected. I found that across that wide a gap I needed to brace it better in the center. An easy solution was to buy a cheap rubber door stopper (the wedge type) and screw it into the floor. That kept if from wobbling if the baby grabbed onto the rail and started to dance or pull. Anyhow I hated having to have a barrier like this but as barriers go it is strong and reliable and really the only thing out there that would span a wide gap.

This item came to my door in a tattered mess. The box was torn and then re-taped and when I opened the box the item was completely damaged. I don't assume that it's Baby Age's fault in the shipping matter, but upon return of the item, I was not issued a full refund. Instead, I've been issued a store credit. I am not very pleased with this experience at all.
