My grandson loves this toy, even though his little hands (at 8 moonths) can't always get the fish into the bowl. Great nap buddy cuz he falls asleep trying and can't be hurt by lying on it.

Received as a gift when DS was 4 months old. He didn't get into it until he was about 7 months old, but now at almost 9 months, he LOVES this toy. He specifically seems to love the starfish. Maybe it's the textured bottom that he likes to teeth on, or the fact that he can hold it from so many different angles. He enjoys the rest of them also, but the starfish is definitely a favorite. The bowl itself is very well-designed for baby hands. DS can grab onto the sides easily because they're made to be flap-like. I also like the fact that the toys inside are machine washable. Have already washed them several times and they have held up well. Other toys have lost their noise-making ability, or worn out in the wash, but no problems with these. Other reviews mentioned that it's tough to get the toys out of the bowl. Probably true, but hasn't been a huge issue for us.

I got this for my 8 month old son for Christmas and he hasn't shown much interest in it yet. He may just not be ready for it. My only criticism is that I think the opening should be a little wider so you can dump out the pieces. It's very nice quality, though.
