We bought this used and am so glad we did not pay full price. I was shocked to see such high reviews since we have found this high chair to be so clumsy and seemingly uncomfortable for our 6 month old (we have a regular Evenflo high chair for our 2 year old). The first thing I hate is the extra padding around the seat back. my 6 month old is tall for her age and it causes her to be scrunched forward...we'll take it off but was a feature we thought would be helpful since she isn't great about sitting on her own. Since we do not have the manual, I could be mistaken about this, but the other reason I hate it is there is no place to hang the tray. Our other one (which was about [..] new) has a lip that you can hang the tray on while you strap the infant in. Not a big deal if you have space to put the tray, but for us, it makes it hard. The other thing I don't care for is how clunky it seems. It doesn't move around nearly as well as our other one and I don't like the tray as much. The only "plus" about the thing is the mechanical aspect...but, I am 40 and think that you should be in your highchair to eat, not play :-) so we don't really use it. However, it is cool when I am trying to take care of both kids at one time. To use the toy you have to remove the top tray so it will fit.

When I was researching, pre-baby, I noticed the high volume of positive reviews of this high chair, and put it on my list to check out. My one reservation, at the time, was the "cutesy" styling. Of course, now that my son is almost 2, I'm over that! I am SO glad that I went with this high chair, rather than a "mod" looking Peg Perego that would have cost much more. The best features: 1) It is sturdy. My son is a solid 21 month old and kicks a lot these days, but the chair is still very sturdy on the ground and I've never worried about it tipping, etc. I have to admit I was surprised to read the other reviews about kids being too big at under a year- our little guy is about 75th percentile on height/weight, and he still fits fine in the chair. We do keep the tray out at the farthest setting, but it locks tightly. Trust me, he has tested it. 2) The features are designed well for usage. The tray comes off with one hand (latch at the front of the tray), or two hands (both side latches together). The straps snap easily and can be easily detached to throw in the dishwaser to get rid of the gunk. The seat wipes down easily, and I even threw it in the washing machine once on delicate and let it air dry, and it was fine. 3) The snap-in toys are awesome! The tiger that snaps into the sides of the tray was a favorite during teething, and the larger snap-in became almost an addiction for him at one point. We didn't use them much after 14 months or so, but while we did, they were a godsend in terms of giving me a few minutes to clean up after his meal while he was happily occupied in his chair. My only real complaint is that the snap-in tree is not as easy to clean- it would be nice if you could take the pieces apart to clean the gunk out of them, but this is really a minor thing. I have recommended it to all my friends, and based on my positive experience with this product, bought the Healthy Care Booster Seat to transition to the next phase (though he still eats more meals in the high chair).

This is a great high chair. My two love to sit in it to eat, play, or watch one of their movies. I like that it goes anywhere with it's wheel and that it has 7 different heights to place it at. I have it on it lowest position and it easily sits up at the table with the rest of us or I can have it at a higher position for watching their movies. The fabric is perfect for cleaning. Just wipe away the mess! No machine washing!! Great seat and comes highly recommended from us.
