The Shock Shield LED Night Light is the best one we have ever used. So much so that I have purchased them for our house and our daughters' homes (for our grandchildren). The night light gives off a soft light that allows you to see, but does not blind you or disturb your sleep or the sleep of the little ones. Plus, it has the built-in safety feature to protect little fingers from electrical shock if they should try to unplug the light. I wish they were a little less expensive, but they are still worth every penny.

This night light is a disappointment. First, it's very dim. It's plugged into an outlet about 3 inches away from my daughter's crib, but it doesn't give enough light for me to see her even if I'm standing right next to the crib. Second, it's very easy to pull from the socket. My daughter is 7 mo old and she can pull it out of the socket with one hand...leaving an exposed socket to play with. I definitely do not recommend this product.
