The product was delivered promptly. The package did not contain the hardware packet identified on the inventory list. Therefore, the gate could not be assembled and had to be returned.

We installed this gate into a 45" wide doorway to keep our puppy where he belongs. It works great. The one thing I'd observe is that the door frame must be absolutely perfect to work well without the mounting cups. Our door jambs were off by < 1/16" (i.e. jambs aren't perfectly parallel.) That was enough that the gate worked it's way loose from all the opening and closing. Once I installed the mounting cups on the door jamb, no problem.

A couple of issues here. 1) My door is 43" wide, the top is wider than the bottom. Attaching one extention was not enough & attaching both was too much. My fix was to get two 1" bocks of wood to brace the top brackets of the gate on. I painted them, put a long screw through the block into the wall then screwed the pad on. It worked well, but helped to creat problem number two. 2) The bars bend out away from the gate. Being further from the wall created a little space my 15 week old terrier can fit through, in both corners. My fix for this is to cut some plexy glass, drill holes & attach with plastic rip chords to secure the terrier escape route. Which I will do today after work. If my house has not already been shredded by the time I get home. Seems like a lot to go through, but this is my second gate & I'm tired of messing with it. Other than the issues listed above, I like the way the gate functions.
