This cup was great except for the fact that it grows mildew in recessed spots very easily. We looked inside the little mouthpiece a few weeks ago and found it FILLED with smelly mildew. Needless to say, we tossed it right there and then. Mildew also formed between the rubber inner part and the plastic top. That is absolutely not acceptable for our 16-month to be drinking through. Will never buy another. I'm sure bleach would take care of that, but I'd much rather my son's sippy cup be cleanable with soap and water. Bleaching plastic and rubber parts freaks me out.

The cup works well.. at keeping things cold. But anything past a sideways angle = a constant leak!Overly complicated valve. Too many parts to keep track of.A trick to make it leak less.. is to assemble the unit with a WET valve (water).. this helps it seal better.. but its still a PITA.Shame, if they had used a design more like the Gerber cups (1 pc valve) it would be a great idea. Its getting sent back!

I bought one of these sippy cups for my toddler daughter, happy to have a healthy alternative to plastic sippy cups. The leak-proof feature was a must-have. Unfortunately after taking the lid apart to clean it thoroughly, the valve mechanism would not stay in place when I put it back together. If it was not intended to come out then I wonder why it was made like that. We rarely use it now and I am disappointed to have spent the money on it. When my daughter gets old enough to drink without spilling, I am sure we will use it more. I do like how it keeps her drinks fresher for longer periods of time.
